Saucony Triumph 19

Sharing is caring!

I bought a pair of Saucony Triumph 19 in early November 2021. Since then, I have logged 124 miles, with my longest run of 11 miles.

I bought these shoes to replace my Nike Pegasus 37. I intended to use them as my secondary shoe for three days and 15 miles per week.

They are cushioned neutral shoes with a semi-curved last. They are heavier than my current primary shoe, Saucony Endorphin Speed 2.

They meet my primary need of a flexible shoe. To help with pronation, a shoe needs to bend to have the toe meet the heel.

The Triumphs feel more durable than the Endorphin Speeds, and I will use them on my long training runs. They have a good bounce. With their weight, I will not use them in races. I’ve successfully used the Endorphin Speeds in races up to marathon distance.

There is no visual sight of posting in the shoe, and they are advertised with no posting. My push-off point shows that I am under pronating in these shoes. Unless I start getting outside foot pain, I will continue using them.

I have noticed that the middle parts of the laces are fraying.
