I had a dream. What does it mean? #1

Sharing is caring!

I’m at a hotel on a trip for either a software install or software sales presentation.

I get locked out of my hotel room wearing only a towel. It’s a rather large towel, too.

In the hotel lobby, the local police confronted me.

They wanted to arrest me for urinating in public.

I asked them for a specific date and time of the incident.

They couldn’t give me the details and told me they would get back to me. They asked for my phone number.

I can’t remember my phone number. And, in my dream, I started cycling through many phone numbers, never recalling a correct number. I could not remember my cell number or landline. But, I did know all the numbers I thought of were wrong. Since I didn’t have any pockets, I didn’t have a business card. This memory loss went on for a while.

I gave up and went to the hotel desk to get back in my room. They needed a phone number. Within seconds, I recalled my cell number and my landline, too.

I woke up to my alarm clock.

So, what does it mean? I hate that when I ask a therapist to answer that question, their response is, “what do you think?”

I guess, use the porta pots and stop worrying about a fading memory. What do you think?

The next night, I had a dream about cuddling and FARC members. I didn’t write that one down. Y’all are the women of my dreams.
