FARC Singlets

Sharing is caring!

Since the founding of FARC in April 1994, we’ve done various club merchandise offers. We did have a long hiatus between 2002 and 2016.

You may see some older t-shirts and sweatshirts from the 20th century. Currently, there is a full range of merchandise for sale at Lucky Road in Central Park, including shirts, singlets, winter wear, and hats.

Over the years, we’ve had six singlet versions.

In 1995, Matt Boyd worked with Dixie Sports to produce a limited quantity of an In Sport white singlet. This shirt sported our original club logo, designed by Chris Campbell.

A couple of years later, we did a second production run on Best of Times singlets from the National Running Center. These took a couple of years to sell out.

In 2000, we changed to a red singlet on Best of Times products. This version was the first we offered in both male and female styles. These did not move well, so we decided to stop offering FARC merchandise.

In 2016, we went to a preorder singlet run. These shirts were sublimated and could be made one at a time at a reasonable cost. The club logo was colorized, and various cuts were offered.

In 2017, Ascis donated white male cut and blue female cut singlets to the club. Best Products in Caroline printed the second club logo on the shirts. These shirts sold well.

With the third club logo adopted in 2021, the board of directors decided to produce a variety of club merchandise. The singlet came in male and female styles and a multitude of colors. I would have preferred a blue shirt but accepted the red one in my size.

Keep an eye out for your fellow club members at races near and far.
