Guns

Sharing is caring!

With the Taliban’s 11 day takeover of the Afghanistan government, our 2nd Amendment right to bear arms becomes more relevant.

We become a stronger defender of our freedoms not by carrying a gun but by our opponents not knowing who has a weapon.

Those cities with strong guns laws still have those people carrying guns who thwart the laws. Criminals tend to break the law. So much so that they are becoming more open in their use of firearms to enhance their enterprises.

I’m not sure why politicians want to prevent us from protecting ourselves. Concerned about our protection, they want us to wear masks not to get sick. Then, they don’t want us to carry weapons not to get assaulted.

I’m not sure of their long-term goal. Perhaps, those in charge don’t have a long game, only what helps today or the next election cycle.

Would those who oppose private gun ownership post a sign on their house, “no gun in the house?” Probably, not.

I’m feeling nervous. There are too many issues popping up to ignore. Too many are getting on our lawns.

We are reducing our freedom, and I don’t feel any safer.

Keep running and enjoy life while you can. I’m just happy to see you.
